September 1, 2017 (Koror, Palau) The anticipated first Koror State gubernatorial debate last night was rescheduled after five out of seven candidates agreed to postpone the event due to the primary debate organizer being out sick. [restrict]
Two other candidates, Koror Legislature Speaker Eos Rudimch and Vice Speaker Franco Gibbons Jr. were ready to debate but agreed with the rest to postpone.
Seven folks have declared their intentions to run for the Office of Governor of Koror State and they are Alfonso Dias, Harry Fritz, Franco Gibbons, Sam Masang, Eyos Rudimch, Lilly Uludong and Roman Yano.
Koror State, the most affluent of the sixteen States as well as most populous State in the Republic is seeing a whole cadre of seasoned political veterans as well as younger generations vying for seats in its government.
