April 11, 2018- The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform the general public that its Health Promotion Outreach Team will be in Ngaraard State to provide health education, screening, immunization, brief interventions, and referrals on April 17-18, 2018.
On Tuesday, April 17, 2018:
The Health Education Sessions for Hybrid Survey, Breast & Cervical Cancer, Immunization, Communicable Diseases, Oral Health, Substance Use, Men’s Health, and Chronic Disease Self-Management will begin at 6:00PM at Ngaraard State Office.
On Wednesday, April 18, 2018:
The Health Team will conduct a free, health screening for Body Mass Index (BMI), Blood Pressure Checks, Blood Sugar Testing, Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening, STI Testing, and TB Symptoms Check. The screening will be held at Ngaraard State Office from 2:00PM to 9:00PM.
Also on Wednesday is the Food-Handling Session from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at the Ngaraard State Office.
Also on Wednesday is the 5210 Campaign & the Share the Air Campaign at the Ngaraard Elementary School from 1:00PM to 2:00PM.
