Neco Marine Stingers made history in Palau’s National Basketball League (NBL) by clinching the championship title for the first time.

Neco Marine Stingers Head Coach Christian Donesa, who also won the Coach of the Year Award during the awarding ceremony held on November 27 at the Palau National Gymnasium, admitted that it was a tough competition with the Meda Team.

Throughout the final games, Stingers suffered one defeat versus Meda.

Stingers closed the season with a total of 23 wins and one loss.
