The Australian Embassy would like to extend a warm welcome to its new First Secretary and Deputy Head of Mission, Mr. Brett Pelttari. Mr. Pelttari arrived in Palau last Wednesday on the inaugural Palau Paradise Express, the new direct flight between Brisbane and Koror.
“I am pleased to have arrived in the Republic of Palau in the 30th year of diplomatic relations between our two countries and look forward to working closely with the Palauan community and colleagues” said Mr. Pelttari.
Mr. Pelttari will be managing the corporate functions of our Embassy and supporting the delivery of consular, passport and notarial services among other things.
Mr. Pelttari joins us from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade headquarters in Canberra, where he most recently worked as Acting Assistant Director, Corporate Services for the South and Southeast Asia Group.
