15 May 2025 – The Australian Embassy welcomes the arrival of Ms Camille Pesava, our new Second Secretary. Ms Pesava will work across Australia’s development cooperation program to address the Government of Palau’s priorities.
Ms. Pesava joins us from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Office of the Pacific in Canberra, where she worked across policy and development in the Tuvalu Section and the North Pacific Section. Prior to DFAT, she worked at the Federal Court of Australia on a Pacific Judicial Strengthening Initiative across 15 Pacific Island countries, including Palau.
“I’m happy to have the opportunity to work and live in the pristine Republic of Palau and support the Palau-Australia development partnership. I look forward to working closely with and learning from the Government of Palau, donor partners and the local community.”
Australia remains a committed partner to the Republic of Palau and will continue to listen to and work in partnership with Palau, including to improve connectivity, promote tourism and trade and create stronger people to people links.
