The Ngardok Nature Reserve 25th Anniversary Organizing Committee (NNR AOC) collaborated with Belau Force International over the Labor Day weekend to run a successful softball tournament. Both Open Men’s and Co-Ed teams were invited to participate. A total of 9 co-ed teams and 7 open teams were able to join the tournament which ran for four days over the long weekend.

In the Co-Ed category, 3rd place went to Team Islanders, 2nd place went to Team 2012, and 1st place was taken by Team Belau Force. In the Open category, 3rd place went to Team Meyuns, 2nd place went to Team Kayangel, and 1st place went to Team Belau Force.

NNR AOC would like to extend a special thank you to Belau Force International members and officers for all their hard work in running the tournament: President Clint Mersai, Vice President Jefferson Eriich, Secretary Ricky Mechol, and Treasurer Favian Ngiramengior. Special thanks to Belau Force for donating the game balls as well. NNR AOC would also like to recognize Koror State Governor Eyos Rudimch for the donation of the tournament trophies, made by the Belau Eco Glass Center.
