Ngatpang State is seeking assistance from lawmakers to secure donations for chairs and computers, among other necessities for the school.

In a letter addressed to Senate President Hokkons Baules, the Health and Education Committee of Ngatpang State highlighted the dire condition of the chairs and desks in the schools, which are falling apart and in urgent need of replacement.

Hera Subediang, chair of the Health and Education Committee, emphasized the significant impact teachers have on shaping the lives of students, helping them grow into productive and responsible members of the community.

“I can assure you that the teachers are continuously touching the lives of our children to become productive and responsible citizens of the community,” Hera Subediang, chair of the Health and Education Committee, stated.

Additionally, the teachers require bookshelves for storing books and desktop computers.

Subediang noted that the school is willing to accept used donations while they explore funding opportunities to acquire new chairs, desks, and computers. She stated that these donations would greatly “boost the morale of the teachers in the school.”  (By: Bernadette Carreon)
