Police Sergent, Allen L. Ngiralmau, of the Division of Marine Security and Media Manager, Spis Gordon, of Belau National Museum have been accepted to JICA’s Knowledge Co-Creation Program in Japan.

Ngiralmau will be attending the Maritime Search and Rescue, Maritime Disaster Prevention and Marine Environment Protection for Coast Guard Officials.  The program aims to create an action plan which is made by the participants who recognize the issues and challenges in their organization including human resource development (HRD), based on the acquired knowledge and skills about maritime search and rescue (SAR), marine disaster prevention and marine environment protection.  The program period will be from September 30 to November 9, 2024.

Gordon will be attending the Museums and Community Development program.  Through this program, the participants will be provided useful skills and know-how regarding operations in Japanese museums, which will be shared with relevant personnel at their museums/institutes through action plans to be developed by each participant.  The program will be held from October 3 to December 19, 2024.
