The Ngiwal State Scholarship for school year 2020-2021 was awarded to two college students, Ms. JennaD. Rechelluul and Mr. Bright E. Ngirarois, on August 20.
Ms. Rechelluul is a continuing college student majoring in pre-nursing at the University of Guam, while Mr. Ngirarois is a Palau High School graduate who will be pursuing his Mandarin studies at Ming Chuan University in Taipei, Taiwan.
The scholarship is a $1,000 award given to exceptional students from Ngiwal State, who are selected by the Palau National Scholarship Board according to the established criteria.
Governor Ellender Ngirameketii of Ngiwal State presented the scholarship to the two young students, in the presence of PNSB Treasurer Caroline S. Skebong.
