DHL heir Larry Hillbroom Jr.
A Judge in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) reportedly granted the request of DHL heir Larry Hillbroom Jr. to depose the attorney who represented him when he was still a minor staking a legal claim to a multimillion-dollar inheritance.
The Marianas Variety reported that Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona of the District Court for the NMI said that Hillbroom lawyer Barry J. Israel can be deposed on Guam.
Israel was one of the two legal counsels that represented Hillbroom when he was still a minor. The other legal counsel was David Lujan.
Both attorneys were later sued by Hillbroom for legal malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, civil conspiracy and violation of the California Business and Professions Code when he became an adult.
Hillbroom was one of the children who inherited millions after proving to the court that he was the son of DHL Co-founder Larry Lee Hillblom notorious for being a pedophile who loved to travel around Asia for sex tours.
Hillblom died in a plane crash near Saipan in 1995 at the age of 52. (Rhealyn C. Pojas)
