Palau Aquatics invites the community to celebrate Palau’s 30th Independence Day with an open water swim at Skojio (Meyuns ramp) on Saturday, September 28. The event features 3 individual swim events (3 kilometer, 500 meter, 250 meter) and a mixed relay event. The relay involves a 4-person team with each swimmer doing 500 meters. Each team must have at least 1 male and 1 female swimmer. Organize your own team or come down and Palau Aquatics will organize impromptu teams following the individual swims. To register, stop by the national swimming pool or email palauswimming@gmail.com. Registration is open until 6:45 AM on Saturday. Individual swims begin at 7:30 AM with relays immediately following.
