Best Ecological Dive-DRT SHOW 2023 in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Diving & Resort Travel Expo (DRT Show) serves as a comprehensive showcase of diverse destinations, underwater adventures, resort accommodations, and travel services. From unveiling the hidden gems of underwater exploration to highlighting luxurious resorts nestled in stunning locales, this expo caters to the interests and aspirations of avid travellers and adventure seekers.

The DRT Show commenced in Hong Kong, December 15-17, 2023, buzzing with excitement. The Palau Visitors Authority (PVA) booth attracted over 450 curious visitors eager to explore Palau’s beauty. The PVA booth showcased Palau’s charm and hospitality, captivating attendees with what our island has to offer. Representatives from 5 companies joined PVA at the show to promote tour packages, liveaboards, hotel accommodations, and flight routes.

A significant announcement came from Cambodia Angkor Air, revealing flights starting February 02, 2023, flying directly from Hong Kong to Palau. They will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday throughout the year, making it easier for Hong Kong travellers to visit Palau.

The highlight of the three-day show was when the Best Ecological Dive- Tourism Award was awarded to the Palau Visitors Authority. This award can be accredited to the collaborative effort that the Republic of Palau has made in the Tourism Industry such as the initiatives led by national and state partners include the Marine Protection Act, Protected Areas Network, RISL UNESCO World Heritage Site, Palau Pledge, and the Responsible Tourism Education Act to name a few.
