KOROR, Palau — Palau celebrated the arrival of its New Year baby, a healthy baby girl named Kleyanged Kamille Mesubed, who was born at 1:15 a.m. on December 31, 2024. As the final baby born in 2024, her birth brought joy to her parents, who extended heartfelt New Year greetings to the community.

Meanwhile, in Guam, Palauan parents welcomed the first baby born on U.S. soil in 2025. Baby boy Konnan Ngirarois was celebrated as the first New Year’s baby of 2025 on the island, according to KUAM News. The joyous occasion was marked by generous donations coordinated by Archway – Guam, showcasing the community’s support for the family.
