Palau and Japan will jointly conduct a seminar on Dec. 4 covering a wide range of issues, from trade, investment, tourism, transportation, energy, aquaculture and agriculture.

On the Japan side, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Norikazu Suzuki will lead the delegation of the Japanese economic mission taking part in the Japan and Palau Trade, Investment and Tourism Seminar.

Several speakers from Japan and Palau will be talking about trade ,investment and tourism topics.

Japan is considered by Palau as large trade, investment and tourism partner.Tourism is  Palau main industry, with the majority of its tourists coming from China, Japan and Taiwan.

Palau Chamber of Commerce and several members of the Remengesau cabinet are also lined up to speak about the various trade and tourism issues.

In July, President Remengeaau has asked Japan along with United States to help its tourism industry.
