Lauren graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and international affairs.

In 2018, she received her Juris Doctor from William and Mary Law School. While in law school, she was the Managing Editor of the Environmental Law and Policy Review, as well as the Managing Partner for the Center of Legal and Court Technology.

Before joining the Palau Judiciary, she served as a Law Clerk with the Board of Veterans Appeals in Washington, D.C. from 2018 to 2019. She has worked for the United States Institute of Peace, for the law firm of LeClair Ryan, and for the Department of Justice. She served as a Fellow in the Fulbright program for a year in Taiwan.

Lauren enjoys scuba diving and hopes to make new friends and learn about Palauan culture during her time at the Judiciary. (PR)
