Hasinta Idechong has been appointed as the new Deputy Administrative Director at the Palau Judiciary, a role that requires her to work closely with the Judiciary’s leadership, direct operations of the office, and improve administrative functions.

Idechong had completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the California State University in San Bernardino.

She also acquired diverse work experiences from previously assuming different leadership positions for various government entities.

Idechong recently worked as Chief Financial Officer for Palau Public Utilities Corporation (PPUC) where she helped establish the corporation when the Utilities Consolidation Act merged Palau Water and Sewer Corporation into PPUC in 2013.

Prior to her stint at the PPUC, Hasinta held positions at the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance.

Idechong is from Ngiwal state and has a grown son in Guam and two grade-school children that live with her in Palau. (PR)
