Every year on October 28, Judo players around the world celebrate the birthday of the founder of Judo, Sensei Jigoro Kano. In line with this year’s theme of “WELLBEING”, the Palau Judo students wanted to do something to help the wellbeing of other kids who were in need.
Palau Judo Federation reached out to Palau Parents Empowered, a non-profit organization for parents of children and youth with disabilities, and learned that Special Education students were in need of noise cancelling headphones to use with their Chrome Books at school. So the Palau Judo Federation, with the support of Globus, donated 40 sets of noise cancelling headphones to Palau Parents Empowered, who handed over the donation to Ministry of Education’s Special Education Program.
