T-Dock, Meketii Palau – Palau Pledge will be celebrating this year’s Earth Day with a splash! Through Presidential Proclamation No. 24-365 “Investing in Our Community: Safeguarding our Investments for a Cleaner Future” “Kaukledem el Kirel a Ungil Omengereomel el mo Klungiolel a Ungil Klukuk er Kid”, the Palau Pledge Dive Club, Kanu Hawaii, the Koror State Government, and local dive shops are coming together for Dive for Earth Day. This will be one of many dive clean-ups that the Palau Pledge Dive Club will join to get more experience diving underwater and diving in a technical environment.
The dive clean-up will be at T-Dock in Meketii from 8:30AM to 3PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024. The Koror State Solid Waste Management team will be on hand to pick up all the collected waste and bring them to their hub at M-Dock for segregation, identification and weighing.
Do you want to participate? The inland bays for Palau are spectacular but need regular maintenance (clean ups).
