Palau National Olympic Committee (PNOC) and Palau Team-22 will be participating in the Pacific Mini Games scheduled for CNMI/Saipan from June 17-27, 2022 with the rest of Oceania countries.
Palau National Team-22 is sending seven sport teams to attend this multi-sport event which includes Athletics, Baseball, Beach Volleyball, Golf, Triathlon, Va’a (Canoe) and Weightlifting. We are proud of Team Palau’s commitment and passion to represent Palau in this major regional sporting event. In this respect, Team 22 athletes have been preparing well, not only in performances, but in good health and spirit, and practicing daily to ensure that they are ready for the upcoming games.
However, we are short on funds and rely on fundraising efforts with our sponsors, partners and leadership to realize our strong presence at this regional event. We have started our fundraising activities in which we held our first fundraiser last Sunday May 1st, 2022 at the National Gym. We had carwash, food sales, garage sale and others. We also held a 5k run/walk and a mile fundraiser on May 4th, 2022 in celebration of our Senior Citizens Day. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Team-22 athletes, coaches, and parents as well as the general public for their generous support and donations. Our next big fundraiser will be at the night market on May 21st, 2022 so please come by and support your Team-22!
