KOROR, Palau (June 16, 2025) — A record 35 college students have been selected for the 2025 Palau Fellowship Award, marking the largest group of summer interns hosted by the Palau National Scholarship Board (PNSB) since the program began. The award supports Palauan’s students pursuing higher education by providing hands-on work experience in Palau’s government agencies and institutions.

The Palau Fellowship Award is open to college students in their junior year, those transitioning to senior year, and recent graduates. Each intern receives a $400 bi-weekly stipend and paid travel expenses during their full-time, eight-week placement. The program aims to strengthen students’ knowledge, foster professional growth, and open doors to future employment in Palau.

“This year’s cohort reflects the wide range of talent and academic focus areas Palauan students are pursuing abroad,” PNSB stated.
