Koror, Palau — Today, September 6, marks the final day for voter registration ahead of the upcoming general election. New voters who wish to participate in the November 5 election must register by 5 p.m. today.
Palauan citizens can register at the Election Office. According to the election commission, a birth certificate or valid passport is required to complete the registration process.
This election season, many young people in Palau have remained disengaged from campaigns. In response, candidates and their supporters have been identifying young citizens turning 18 and encouraging them to register to vote.
