Suva, Fiji – Palau’s Kraven Ngirchomlei and Peace Adaba impressed in their first U18 1500m race at the 2024 Oceania Area Championships.
Ngirchomlei shaved a significant 10 seconds off his personal best, clocking an impressive 4:38.53. Adaba also put in a strong showing, improving her time to 4:44.69.
Earlier, Ngirchomlei led Team Palau into the opening ceremony, carrying the flag after meeting the Oceania U18 standards in both the 800m and 1500m events.
