Palau Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) alongside Governor Jersey Iyar will be holding a Spay/Neuter Mobile Clinic at Ngatpang State this month of February-March 2024. Our pet clinic will begin on February 29 to March 1; starting at 9am we will be at the summer house next to the Ngatpang State office, and we will hold our services till 2pm.
PAWS promotes the sterilization of dogs and cats, both males and females, which helps control the overpopulation crisis instead of having healthy animals being unnecessarily euthanized each year. Sterilization also helps protect Palau’s unique biodiversity and promotes human health via improved animal health. Animals that are spayed (female) and neutered (male), will live a longer, healthier life – no complications from pregnancy and males won’t roam or fight looking to mate!
