Koror, Palau, May 26, 2025 — The Palau Conservation Society (PCS) Board of Directors Chairman, TJ Remengesau, has announced that the PCS Annual General Membership (AGM) Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bai er a Maiberel, 1st floor, Medalaii. The meeting, held in accordance with the PCS by-laws, invites all current members and supporters to join in celebrating 30 years of ongoing conservation efforts and to elect new board members who will help guide the organization’s future work.
The AGM will highlight the society’s accomplishments over the past year and three decades of dedication to fostering Healthy Ecosystems for a Healthy Palau. Members and attendees will hear a comprehensive review of PCS’s activities, updates on ongoing programs and future conservation projects, and will have the opportunity to actively participate in discussions and provide feedback on PCS’s mission to protect Palau’s natural resources.
Nominations for individuals to serve on the Board of Directors are now open, with a submission deadline of May 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Interested members can nominate candidates who are approved by the Membership Committee. PCS encourages all members and supporters to participate and ensure that leadership continues to reflect the community’s commitment to conservation.
