Palau Conservation Society was incorporated as an Environmental Non-Governmental Organization in the Republic of Palau on June 14, 1994.

This year PCS is celebrating 24 years of continuous environmental conservation with good relationship and partnership with community organizations, state governments, national government ministries and regional organizations such as the BirdLife International and IUCN.  Thanks to the 10 Palauan visionaries who had a vision to start PCS.

The year for the AGM (Annual General Membership) meeting will be at the Bai ra Maibrel on June 28, 2018, from 12pm to 1:30pm.  All members are invited including anyone who wants to become a member.  Agenda for the meeting will be the 2017 Annual Report, project outcomes and ongoing projects.  Light lunch will be available.

In commemorating the 24th year, celebrations include the Membership Appreciation Campaign with a drawing for prizes to members.  Last week 8 members were picked on a drawing process and won prizes.  This week the winners are Richard Brooks, Dessmarie Dilutaoch, Ngirachisau Mekoll, Maria D. Simer, King M. Sam, Clement Kazuma, Nelson J. Werner and Sherry L. Solang.  They can pick up their prizes at the office of PCS on the second floor of the Bai ra Maibrel.  Winners for next week and the week after will be announced on the Environmental Hour every Tuesday at Eco-Paradise 87.9 FM from 9:15am to 10am.  Please join the membership of PCS by calling the office at telephone no. 488-3993/4716, or email Ms. Genna Saiske at email address gsaiske@palauconservation.org.

The board members, management, staff and all members of PCS appreciate the following local companies such as The Taj Palau, Surangel & Sons Company, WCTC (Western Caroline Trading Company), PNCC (Palau National Communications Corporation), IP&E, Blue Bay Petroleum and Palau Pacific Resort for donating the prizes.
