Ambassador Richelle Turner was pleased to attend the launching of Project Okeuid today with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and the Environment, Minister Steven Victor.

Project Okeuid, will see the development of a database that will inform MAFE’s approach to strengthening domestic food security while protecting the environment.

The Australian-funded project, implemented by Beyond Essential Systems, will track and collate information on crops and livestock, including production yield, visualize weather data and track public health threats, alert farmers of said threats, and connect farmers to markets. Australia is pleased to partner with the MAFE on this project.   (Caption and Photo by: MAFE)
