Pacific Mini Games 2022 ended with resounding accolades by all the participating countries of the host, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, for a well-organized and successful event at the closing ceremony last week before the ceremonial flag was passed on to the next hosting country, Palau.

Palau will be hosting the next Pacific Mini Games in 2025. Palau won the bid to host over American Samoa and Niue who both submitted bids in the initial process.

The Presidential Directive No. 22-50 signed by President Surangel Whipps Jr., creating the 2025 Pacific Games Organizing Committee said that it wants to ensure that Palau is fully organized and prepared to host the games.

Palau hosted the same Games in 2005.  The Games rotate every four years and are the smaller version of the Pacific Games.
