Palau Pacific Resort hosted the KES Career Day on February 16, 2018.

Three students namely Ashanti Basiou, Sirah Simon, and Jubilee Olkeriil showed interest in cookery and they were able to tour the hotel’s kitchen area and its many sections.

They were able to observe the Kitchen team and see firsthand what operations were conducted there especially such occasions as the Chinese New Year which was being celebrated on the same day of the carrer day.


The aspiring young chefs assisted with the preparation of some baked goodies in the Pastry section, as well as help with the making of salads and fruit platters in the Cold section.

The program was conducted for half a day and the Resort hopes that the students will continue with their interest in the field and possibly join the PPR team someday. [/restrict]
