Campaign materials on Judiciary Premises
The palau Judiciary requests that all candidates for political office and their supporters refrain from posting signs or other campaign materials on Judiciary premises’.
[restrict] This is necessary to preserve one of the most essential attributes of a healthy democracy – an independent and impartial Judiciary. Even the slightest appearance of partiality in an election threatens the integrity of the judicial system, and such appearance itself would violate our Canons of Judicial Ethics as well as the Code of Judicial Conduct.
