President Tommy E. Remengesau, Jr. is set to visit Saipan, CNMI to meet Governor Ralph Torres. Among matters to be discussed includes the handover of a parcel of land in Saipan to the Saipan-Palau Association for a project to build a community center.

While there, President Remengesau will also attend the Marianas High School commencement exercise on May 30th as a Keynote Speaker. MHS Principal Cherlyn Brel Cabrera extended an invitation to President Remengesau to keynote the school’s graduation ceremony and its graduating class. In her letter of invitation, Principal Cabrera expressed, “We are inspired and impressed by your courage to be a hero and advocate for cultural preservation and the environment. To our Class of 2018, you are a hero and champion for the environment as you lead the way for preservation and conservation for the world to see.”

The President will depart on May 29 and is expected to be back by June 3. (PR)
