Senate of the 11th Olbiil Era Kelulau welcomed and seated, as their colleague, Senator Salvador “Sadoi” Tellames after adopting the resolution by the Senate Credentials Committee accepting him as a member of the Senate of the 11th Olbiil Era Kelulau.
The national constitution states that the Senate “shall be the sole judge of the election and qualifications of its members.” Therefore, it can accept or reject a member through a resolution.
The resolution to accept Salvador “Sadoi” Tellames as a member of the 11th OEK-Senate was adopted unanimously by the Senators present. He was “seated” as an official Senator, according to Senate President Hokkons Baules.
Senator Salvador “Sadoi” Tellames is an active media practitioner, owning and operating a radio station for 13 years, adding television to his media services in 2019.
“I will continue to operate the station, and I welcome people who want to create their own talk shows to the station. I will work for the people, as promised, bringing information to them and listening to their requests,” added Senator Tellames in a call with Island Times.
