September 2016 (Koror) Attorney General filed a new drug possession case against Victor Silmai on September 6, 2016 while Mr. Silmai was still awaiting trial for his earlier drug trafficking and possession charges.

Mr. Silmai was charged earlier on 2 counts of Trafficking of Controlled Substance and Possession of Controlled Substance on May 30 of this year.  While released pending trial, he is again arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Controlled Substance.

According to police affidavit, on September 2nd, a search warrant on Silmai’s residence and consent search of vehicle on the premises were issued.

Search of the residence yielded 3 straws containing about 1.76 grams of methamphetamine, packing materials, straws, glass tube and more than a thousand dollars.  The search of the vehicle yielded a zip lock bag with a big chunk of a crystalline substance that was tested positive as methamphetamine or “ICE”, $100 bills and a glass smoke pipe, according to the police report.
