“Building a strong business community one client at a time” is the slogan Palau Small Business Development uses as the backbone of SBDC’s efforts to promote and support local Palauan business. This was evident at Small Business Saturday Market SBDC hosted last Saturday, November 30th at Koror Side of the Palau-Japan Friendship Bridge.
Total of 6 vendors participated in this event. Some of these businesses include a local apparel business called Belau Tribe owned by Scoot Weers, Tiuladokow Artwork which sold t-shirts, stickers, and offered face paint at a reasonable price all by a well-known local artist ElseiTellei, Emelyn’s who sold their flower hair accessoriesand Handmade, a hot sauce made by Tazzy Madlutk and Ziggy Madalutk.
The event which is the first for SBDC to organize, was a way for local businesses to gain a positive exposure to the community. “Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities” according to Ltelatk H. Fritz Center Director/ Certified Small Business Advisor of Small Business Development Center of Palau.
