The Palau Ministry of Education represented by Chief of School Management Raynold Mechol was invited to participate in a planning meeting for the second phase of the Partnerships for Strengthening School Preparedness for Tsunamis in the Asia Pacific Region on May 29th and 29th.
The purpose of this project is to strengthen school disaster preparedness and resilience with enhanced emphasis on tsunami preparedness. This project is funded by the Government of Japan and implemented by UNDP in the Pacific region. (PR)
