Trade and Culture Expo Ignites Island Carnival Spirit
The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), is proud to present the Taiwan-Palau Trade and Cultural Show, held from July 11 to 13, 2025, at the Surangel & Son’s Super Center in Airai, Palau. The event aims to promote bilateral economic cooperation and cultural exchange between Taiwan and Palau, building on the strong and enduring diplomatic partnership shared by both countries.
In addition to product showcases, this trade and cultural show sets the stage with a vibrant night market-inspired theme on July 12th, offering visitors a glimpse into the spirit of everyday life in Taiwan. With colorful visuals and lively settings, it introduces elements of traditional entertainment, local flavors, and cultural expression—paving the way for deeper cultural immersion throughout the event.
TAITRA warmly invites Palauan citizens and international visitors to explore the show, which presents offerings from 29 outstanding Taiwanese enterprises, including 16 on-site exhibitors and 13 catalog participants. Featured products include solar mounting systems, energy storage solutions, diving equipment, food processing machinery, consumer goods, and specialty foods tailored to local needs.
Taiwan and Palau enjoy a close, mutually supportive partnership, with ongoing collaboration across economic and cultural sectors. Taiwan exports a wide array of quality products to Palau, including food, consumer goods, green energy solutions, and electronics. TAITRA expects this event to further strengthen bilateral economic ties and foster new business opportunities between enterprises from both sides.
Beyond trade, the Taiwan Palau Trade and Cultural Showinvites visitors to discover the richness of Taiwanese culture through engaging, hands-on experiences. A dedicated night market area offers nostalgic games such as ring toss and balloon darts, along with classic Taiwanese treats like pineapple cakes and retro candies. These vibrant cultural elements not only provide entertainment but also symbolize the long-standing friendship and diplomatic alliance between Taiwan and Palau. Rooted in shared values and mutual trust, this celebration reflects Taiwan’s enduring commitment to inclusive, sustainable development in the Pacific region.
We eagerly look forward to welcoming you and enjoying the show with us! For more information about Taiwanese product, please contact:
