The Palau International Coral Reef Center has received a generous $10,000 donation from Surangel and Sons Company! Mrs. Marilyn Whipps, Mrs. Yrang W. McCarty and Mr. Eric Whipps presented the donation on behalf of the company.
“Surangel and Sons Company has been an invaluable partner to the Center for over fifteen years,” said Dr. Yimnang Golbuu, PICRC’s CEO. “We are honored to accept their donation and grateful for their ongoing support.”
As a family owned company, Surangel and Sons Company has long supported efforts to educate Palau’s youth on our oceans; the company previously sponsored the Palau Aquarium’s Outer Reef Tank, the Aquarium’s largest exhibit, and has faithfully contributed to the Center’s annual Arts and Tides Calendar Contest. The company also generously supports other programs and projects to conserve our pristine environment.
