Ngerulmud, Melekeok – On January 24, 2025, Mr. Hadley Hesus was officially sworn in as the new Legislator-at-Large for the 18th Kayangel State Legislature. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Court Room 204 in the Judiciary Building in Ngerulmud.
Mr. Hesus emerged victorious in the recent Kayangel Special Election, securing a decisive 25- point win. His election reflects strong support from the people of Kayangel State, and he will now serve as a representative of the people in the legislature.
The ceremony was attended by Governor Richard Ngiraked, Speaker Roydan Renguul and fellow legislators, and several prominent women of Kayangel State as Mr. Hesus takes on his new role with a focus on serving the best interests of his constituents.
