Ambassador Lee and Minister Udui

Ambassador Jessica Lee of the Republic of China (Taiwan) presented two stimulus grant checks of 4.78 million US dollars to Minister of Finance Kaleb Udui, Jr., as the fifth tranche of 2019 annual grant and the second tranche of 2020 annual grant.

14 Funded projects in this action for 2019 are: Meltelatel Road of Aimeliik, Ngerubesang-Dispensary Road Improvement of Melekeok, Ulimang-Ngkeklau Road Improvement, Elab Community Center and Choll Road of Ngaraard, Ngatpang Road, Ngatpang Ibobang Road, Shimizu Road, Karmaliang Road and Ngersuul Road and Taberngesang Park Improvements of Ngchesar, Ngiwal State Existing Dam Feasibility Study, Children Playground Project of Ngaremlengui, Peleliu, Koror, Ngaraard and Ngarchelong and One Stop Shop.


As for the projects for 2020 are: Ngerchokl Recreational Park, Choll Roads, Bai raKlebaeang of Ngaraard, Ngriil Community Center and Heavy Equipment of Ngarchelong, Multi-Purpose Center of Ngatpang, Taberngesang Recreational Park of Ngchesar, Heavy Equipment of Ngiwal, Children Playground Project of Ngaremlengui, Peleliu, Koror, Ngaraard and Ngarchelong, Belau National Hospital Information System and Government Information Systems Network.
