On October 12, Ambassador Wallace Chow of the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) delivered a check of $1,000 to Palau’s Thunder Chiefs Club in support of its community services. In attendance were the club’s leader and the governor of Angaur State Kennosuke Suzuky, along with the club’s members.
Last Christmas, Ambassador Chow joined the 2nd Annual Thunder Chiefs Christmas Toy Run and visit states on the Babeldaob to give away Christmas gifts to children, and the abovementioned donation will also be used to support the club’s related events this year.
