Team Palau Olympians debut in their first Olympics in Paris. Brother and sister, Jion and Yuri Hosei marked a first for Palau, siblings who both qualified for the Olympics. Another special first, a daughter of a former Palauan Olympian, named after the Sydney Olympics, also debuted in her first Olympic in Paris, Sydney Francisco. Not only are they excelling individually, but they brought uniqueness to the Olympics, proudly representing their country, Palau.
