What’s in the way becomes the way. -Marcus Aurelius

Circumcision of heart implies humility, faith, hope, and charity (loving kindness). Humility, a right judgment of ourselves, cleanses our minds from those high conceits of our own perfection, from that undue opinion of our own abilities and attainments, which are the genuine fruit of a corrupted nature. -John Wesley (June 28,1703 – March 2, 1791)

Circumcision is painful.  It’s like cutting off the things you  thought were yours. Áfter  healing of bleeding heart you’ll  find peace. The scars reminds you not of the pain but of the healing process. Everyday I hear functional spirits: self-importance, self-righteousness, and greediness creeping in through the back door my mind to disturb my peace. Please GOD help.

In times like these I turn to classical music to rest my mind.

Music alter your mind so as not to wander to self-pity. Listening to beautiful music calm your anxieties and fear. These demons come to visit when things are so quiet I can hear myself breathing. So I resist and send them off to hell.

One of my favorite is Itzhak Perlman, a legendary  violinist, playing Beethoven concerto. I was reminded that the piece was composed by a deaf man and is being played by a man who can’t walk. WOW! I have no excuse to feel sorry for myself.

I learned long ago that classical music help to improve our mood and helping us to relax. There are a wide range of benefits from listening to classical music that affect all ages, and all stages of life, from babies to the elderly. Such beneficial effects include: Improved sleep. Reduced stress.

Classical music also help heal your brain. In my experience — while your heart is healing your brain follow suit and peace come to stay.

Perlman,  an Israeli-American, contracted polio at age four and has walked using leg braces and crutches since then and plays the violin while seated.  Beethoven, the great composer, lost his hearing when he got older. The story is — his father was a mean alcoholic man who came home drunk and beat up his son, that led to his loss of hearing.

When my granddaughter was nine month old we listened to classical music together while I read to her. She paid attention for more than ten minutes.
