The Western Community Health Center opened yesterday, Thursday, April 17, 2025. Located in Ngermeskang, Ngeremlengui, the new facility will provide crucial medical services to the residents of western Babeldaob.
Speakers at the event expressed their gratitude to Ngiraklang, John Skebong, for the land donation
in a ceremony attended by President Surangel Whipps Jr. and Vice President and Health & Human Services Minister Reynold B. Oilouch, Senator Andrew Tabelual, Governors Mary F. I. Remengesau-Vogt (Ngeremlengui) and Jersey Iyar (Ngetpang), Ngirturong John Sugiyama and Ngeremlengui Chiefs, and community members from the western side of Babeldaob Island.
