Palau Visitors Authority (PVA) chairman Ngiraibelas Tmetuchl is going to represent the government of France in Palau following the Ministry of State’s (MOS) acceptance of his appointment as Honorary Consul on March 26.

The MOS, on March 26, conveyed to the Embassy of France in the Philippines its acceptance of Tmetuchl’s appointment.

Tmetuchl succeeded Mrs. Mandy Thijssen Etpison as French honorary consul in Palau.

“M. Ngiraibelas Tmetuchl, chairman of the Palau Visitors Authority (PVA), is honorably known in this embassy and possesses all the qualities required by his future office,” the French Embassy in the Philippines stated in a letter to MOS dated November 30, 2018.

Aside from being the PVA Chair, Tmetuchl is also the Traditional Chief Renguul of Ngara Irrai. He has served as PVA chairman since 2017.
