The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to provide the public with the following updates on testing and quarantine of individuals in Palau:
• Fifty-seven (57) residents and essential workers arrived today from Taiwan. They have been placed under mandatory quarantine in a government-designated facility.
o Fifty-two (52) of these travelers who originated from Taiwan will be in mandatory quarantine for 7 days and tested on days 1, 7, and 14 per quarantine orders.
o Five (5) who originated from Japan will be in mandatory quarantine for 14 days and tested on days 7, 14, and 21 per quarantine orders.
MOH continues to thank the community for its support to all COVID-19 response activities.
