Koror, Palau – The United States and Palau conducted the annual Joint Committee Meeting (JCM) here to discuss further enhancement of the island nation’s security and defense on October 4.
Vice President Raynold Oilouch, who headed Palau’s delegation, bared that the US signified its plan to help improve the country’s sea transportation through installation of navigation buoys next year.
More US military exercises in Palau are also expected in the future, according to the Vice President, adding that these will be beneficial to the local enforcement since they will also be participating in the exercises.
The US had also proceeded to discuss the installment of additional radars in the country.
