The water will be turned off on the 3rd of April from 1pm to 4pm in all of Koror except Malakal as the Sewage Pump Station 1 has been temporarily shut down in order to relocate its power supply.
The shutting down of the pump has made it necessary to cut off water supply in Koror in order to reduce incoming wastewater flow to the system.
However, there is going to be a wastewater discharge on the same day and time around the Capital Improvement Project (CIP) and Happy Landing.
The PPUC has advised the public to not participate in any water based activities in and around the affected areas. PPUC has also issued an apology for the inconvenience caused and has assured that necessary work will be done to bring water and wastewater operations back to normal.
