Koror, Palau – The Western Caroline Trading Company (WCTC), a long time corporate partner for conservation of Palau Conservation Society, (PCS) donated a check of $1,000 on Tuesday to support conservation work in Palau for the coming year.

On hand to receive the donation from WCTC general manager Anna Tsao-Abellera was PCS Chairman, Francis Toribiong. Chairman Toribiong expressed a humble appreciation for the donation and presented Ms. Tsao-Abellera with PCS’s reusable bag and latest annual report that features PCS’ conservation efforts with the communities in the last year.

WCTC is one of Palau’s major corporations with diversified businesses from grocery stores to car sales and hotels. Every year WCTC donates to various organizations and charities to support their causes. For the past 15 years, WCTC have consistently supported PCS’ conservation efforts to achieve a “Healthy Ecosystem for a Healthy Palau”. Their support includes contributing as a corporate partner for conservation (CPC) and donating to fundraising events such as this year’s June Membership Appreciation Campaign.

PCS Board and Staff humbly appreciate WCTC for their continuous support and commitment towards helping the environment. PCS is very grateful to WCTC and every other CPC for making conservation their priority. Being aware of the daily challenges that Palau faces regarding our environment, everyone should make conservation a priority.
