Rain activity may ease slightly by Wednesday, dropping to a 30% chance, but is likely to increase again Thursday and Friday as additional moisture moves in.
The rainy conditions, forecast from June 9 to 13, are attributed to a slow-moving southwesterly monsoon surge passing over Palau.
For those heading out to sea, the weather service reports moderate marine conditions with wave heights of 2 feet or less and swells between 3 to 4 feet. Winds are expected to remain light and variable, at speeds under 6 mph.
