It was a beautiful day for the graduating class of 2020, this year a 119 students were given their diploma’s on May 21st at the Palau National Track and Field.
Many guests and dignitaries were present during the momentous occasion some of them include Paramount Chief Ibedul, Paramount Chief Reklai, His Excellency President Tommy Remengesau, Vice President and Minister of Justice Raynold Oilouch, and Minister Sinton Soalablai.
In addition to the high dignitaries present, Track and Field was filled with proud families and friends who came out in support of the class of 2020.
With the COVID-19 response in place, guests that enter Track and Field were required to have their temperature taken and given sanitizer for the hands.
This year the valedictorian of Palau High School went to Elton Moises Salamanca Mangeron who achieved a 4.0 GPA. Along with being valedictorian, Mr. Mangeron received the Academic Excellence Award and the PHS PTSA Academic Excellence Award.
