(Palau ) Palau Election Commission has announced the dates for the 2016 primary election and general election. Primary election is set for September 27, 2016 and the General Election is set for November 1, 2016.

Deadline for registration of new voters for primary election is July 29 while the deadline for registration of voters for general election is September 2, 2016.
Deadline for requesting absentee ballots for primary election is September 20 and deadline for requesting absentee ballots for general election is October 25, 2016. Last day to received absentee votes is October 4, 2016.
Deadline for candidates to file nominating petitions for President, Vice President, Senate and House of Delegates is August 3, 2016. [/restrict]
